We don't have the average two kids, but we are happy with just Mason. We try to do things as a family, such as eating dinner together as much as possible but with Matt working nights and some weekends, it gets hard to do things all together. Therefore, we keep Mason in daycare as much as possible so that he can have the interaction with other kids and learn new things. Our extended family lives close, so they help out, too, picking up Mason or cooking dinner. Not everyone has family so close and so willing to help out. We're lucky we do and I wouldn't change that. Seeing how excited Mason gets every time he sees grandma and grandpa or aunts and uncles, it's priceless! We may not be "normal" but we are normal to us and that's all that matters.
